Meet Lauren:

I started Boom Boom Love because, frankly, I have a bit of an aversion to "standard" wedding films. You know the ones—the corporate-style slow motion, the overly polished poses, and aesthetics chosen just because they are trending.

To me, a wedding film shouldn't be a production; it should be honest.

I’m not interested in filming a collection of directed shots or "perfect" moments that never actually happened. I’m here for the messy, the loud, the quiet, and the candid. I want your film to feel less like a commercial and more like opening a treasure box in forty years—dusty, real, and full of the people you love exactly as they were.

I operate more like a documentary filmmaker— my skill is in observing what’s happening around me.

I want to capture the early autumn air and the quiet, unscripted moments when you think no one is looking. It’s about creating a film that feels like a recollection, not a performance.

Oh— and I also want you to feel really, really happy when you watch your film back.

I travel a lot. It’s where I’ve learned to notice the small things.

Hi!! Ravello :)

My biggest inspiration is old wedding pictures—

before there were shot lists and trends at weddings. They are so natural and effortless.

like a true snapshot of a moment, not something staged. That same feeling is what I’m drawn to when I film.

This is Oliver, one of the video editors of Boom Boom Love :)

My approach is very candid, with minimal direction, so the day can unfold naturally without feeling like a production.

Most of the time, you won’t even notice I’m there (best feedback from couples!). I’m just capturing what’s already happening.

Each film is a mix of digital and Super 8, edited into something short, intentional, and a little nostalgic.

The goal is always the same: to create something that feels like a memory you can step back into, not just a video of what happened.

I’m based in Dallas, Texas, but always up for wherever the day takes us.
